The TuffRider R50 Mips Riding Helmet is designed for elegance, comfort and safety. Ventilation holes are supported with a stainless steel mesh inside, for improved air flow to keep you cool and dry. This helmet comes with our Adjust-A-Fit dial at the back ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for every rider. The Coolmax washable lining and PU leather harness offer maintenance free functionality.

What is MIPS ?

MIPS is a short term for Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. It is a new age safety system which consists of a low friction layer to protect the brain from rotational force of impacts. The friction layer helps to absorb & redirect the force rather than transmitting to the brain during an impact. 

The technology provides space for the head to move inside the helmet, hence softening the force of impacts. And this technology works by installing a 0.5-0.7mm thin, ventilated layer inside the helmet liner. And the layer is held in place by the help of composite anchors that flex in all directions to reduce the force of impacts.
